Does Ricksmovie.com offer a search service?
Yes. Although we have posters for over 17,000 films in our inventory, many rare titles only turn up at auction or when a private collector decides to sell. For more information on our free search service click here to send an search request via email.

You can search by all of these categories. Click on the Search maginifying glass on our banner at the top of each page. You can then search by size (also called style or type). You do have to enter something in the search for box though. For example: to search for all press kits beginning with "a" ; select Alphabetical from the "Search:" drop down box, enter "a" w/o the guotes in the "for" box and select press kit in the "of size" box. Hit the search button in that box and viola, all press kits beginning with the letter A appear. If you forget to choose "Title" in the "Search:" drop down box, instead of "Alphabetical", you will get all press kits with titles containing the letter A (as opposed to beginning with the letter A).
TIP! You can trick the Advance Search into displaying all of any Size by selecting Years in the "Search for" box. Enter 1930 in the what to search for box and then select the size/style of item that you want to see.

TO SEE ALL PRESS KITS (note they will display in year order).


You can search by all of these categories.Click on the Search maginifying glass on our banner at the top of each page. In the "Search:" drop down box, you have lots of selections. You must enter something in the "For" box.
Titles searches for the word or any portion of a word that you enter.
Alphabetical, searches for a title beginning with the word or letter that you enter.
Cast/Directors searches, you guessed it, in the actors and directors fields. Search by last name only or first initial, last name. For example to search for Robert Deniro, enter r. deniro or enter deniro. Do not enter robert deniro.
Years will display all movies starting with the year that you enter.
Title and Casts will search both of these fields.


Before you can see what a poster/item looks like you have to find the list for it first. Use the Search feature in the Shop Now Bar at the top of each page to find a listing of the item. Once you have a listing, simply click on the Details icon, (next to the shopping cart icon located on each line.) This will show you the details of the item and an image if it is available. We don't have an image for all 14,000 items yet but we are more than half way there with over 8,000 images-- and we are adding to that each week.

What is the condition of your vintage poster?
We sell authentic movie advertising material, the actual material used in movie theatres. Most of the material from the Mid 70's and earlier has been used but is in good to near-mint condition. Most of the material from the 80's and all of the material from current and upcoming releases is unused, unless otherwise noted.

How are your posters packaged?
All materials are carefully packaged to guard against damage in transit. All unfolded posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes. Folded posters, stills, presskits, and lobby cards are packed in cardboard reinforced envelopes. If both folded and unfolded posters are ordered, we unfold the folded ones and roll the wit the others. Orders wit several different sizes of items will always be packed in a way that ensures safe arrival.

Although we have tried to design the shopping system for everybody's software, some browsers will cause problems during checkout.

Bouncing back to Step 1 of 3. The store checks all your information before it processes your order. If you have left out a required field, it will bounce you back to that page. Most browsers will display an error telling you what you forgot. Simply fill in those fields and hit the next button. If you do not have cookies enabled, you will not be able to proceed. It has been reported by some customers that Macintosh computers do not work with the store. The Macs store the shopping information in a different format and Mac users cannot proceed beyond the second checkout screen. We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience. Items in your cart from your last shopping trip
When you hit Cancel or Exit to leave the store we empty your shopping cart for you. If you leave the store without hitting either of these buttons, your cart will not be emptied. To remove items from your cart now, click on the cart and remove the unwanted items.
